Burnout is a state of emotional, physical and mental fatigue caused by excessive and prolonged stress. It occurs when the individual cannot meet the demands expected of him and does not spare enough time for himself. As the stress continues, the person begins to lose interest and motivation.
“Every day is a bad day.”, “I feel tired all the time.”, “I spend most of the day feeling numb, dull, or downtrodden.” Nothing I do is useless or appreciated.” If sentences like these sound familiar to you, it's the right time to take action.
What are the symptoms of burnout syndrome?

- Difficulty concentrating,

- Experiencing emotional outbursts,
- Feeling tired all the time,

What can you do?
1. Connect with the people closest to you.
Share your thoughts and feelings with your partner, family or friends. The support of your loved ones will make you feel good.
2. Reduce your contact with negative people.
Doing nothing and complaining a lot and hanging out with negative minded people only drags down the mood and appearance. If you have to work with a negative person, try to limit the time you spend together.
3. Socialize with your colleague.
Developing friendships with the people you work with can help you recover from work burnout. For instance; Instead of playing with your phone during the break, you can have a short chat with your colleague or spend time together outside of work.
4. Take time for yourself.
If burnout seems inevitable, try to take time off from work. Use your days off and rest. Use this time to recharge and heal yourself.
5. Try to find a value in your work.
Focus on aspects of the job you enjoy, even if it's chatting with your coworkers at lunch. Changing your attitude towards your job can help you regain a sense of purpose and control.
6. Set boundaries.
Learn to say "no" to requests that are not more valuable than your time or work. If you have a hard time saying no, remind yourself that saying “no” makes you say “yes” to the things you want to do yourself.
7. Take time to relax.
